The Battalion chain of command and the staff are responsible for handling the day to day operations of the entire JROTC Program. The staff is divided into 7 individual sections:
S1, Personnel Actions (awards, promotions, demotions, etc.) - CDT/2LT Mahki Matthews
S2, Intelligence (intelligence briefs, weather, etc.) - CDT/2LT Dexter Derozin
S3, (current and future operational planning) - CDT/2LT Joshua Dukes
S4, (logistics, transportation, supply) - CDT/2LT Jyrion Battiste
S5, (public affairs, community relations) - CDT/2LT Johnny Williams

These sections are responsible for the daily operations of the program. The staff is overseen by the Battalion Executive Officer, C/MAJ Jeremiah Harrison, and sends daily reports to the Battalion Commander, C/LTC Miracle Hall, on the progress they are making.
Being on staff is a prestigious opportunity for those who are willing to take charge and lead from the front no matter how difficult any task may come.
